Terms of Use for StudyBrief.

1. Provider

These terms apply to the use of the StudyBrief website and app operated by Jannik Brose.

2. Service description

StudyBrief helps users create concise study notes from photographed pages, images, and PDFs. The service may include AI-generated summaries, revision prompts, and flashcards.

3. Acceptable use

You may use the service only in a lawful manner and only with content that you are allowed to process. You must not use the service to upload unlawful material, malicious content, or content that infringes the rights of third parties.

4. AI output disclaimer

Generated study notes are automatically created and may contain errors, omissions, or misleading simplifications. Users remain responsible for checking the results against their source material and using their own judgment.

5. Availability

We aim to keep the service available, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed. Features, plans, and limits may change as the product develops.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

StudyBrief Plus is an automatically renewing monthly subscription offered through the Apple App Store.

• Price: $4.99 per month (or the price shown in the App Store at the time of purchase).
• Payment: Charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
• Renewal: Subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period.
• Cancellation: Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period via iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. The subscription remains active until the end of the paid period.
• Refunds: Refunds are handled according to Apple's policies. No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods unless required by applicable law or Apple's refund policy.

We do not receive full payment data from Apple. We only receive a confirmation of subscription status to unlock the Plus allowance.
